Part I: From Dortmund to Palencia (by Manuel)

ALIM On the way to Spain_9 It all began at the airport of our hometown Dortmund, on 14th November at 4pm. Sascha and I arrived at the airport first, the others came a few minutes later. Check-In, a coffee - and off onto the Easyjet flight to Milan. No need to say that the mood was excellent and the flight wouldn't take long at all. Around 8 we had reclaimed our baggage and waited for Kyra (Skydra Management), who was going to pick us up on the way from the last tour date in Switzerland. Luckily all our equipment was already in the caravan, so that we did not have to carry the amps and the guitars through the airports.

Part II: Palencia, 15./16.11.2006 (by Robert)

ALIM Palencia_2 We turned off the caravan on a parking lot nearby the location "Sala Carabel". Although each of us was quite exhausted, there was something we needed even more than sleep: food. The mostly insufficient roadhouse-chow hadn't been satisfying in the long run, so we moved out to finally have a real warm meal.
On our way to the city center, we again came across the inconsiderable entry of the hall and were surprised to find our band name on the posters that were attached there. It is not understood for an opening band to be mentioned separately and not just "+ guest".
A few streets further we found some posters even bigger and they also presented our name - that's the way it should be! After we had a good time with typical Spanish food (Pizza Hut) and some beers, we walked back to our caravan.
Beds, here we come. Finally.

Part III: From Palencia to Barcelona, 16./17.11.2006 (by Dominic)

ALIM Murcia_3 After this great debut performance on our first tour abroad all troubles and pains of the previous two days were neutralized and we headed off for Barcelona. So the same night we started off to cross half Spain to get to the next venue "right on time". Marc and I took first shift - at least as long as we could. The leftovers from last night's Pizza Hut orders were really helpful for enduring the ride. After having fallen asleep at the wheel several times with Marc snoring next to me we ate the old pizzas. Thank you Marc for organizing the late night meals from the back of the caravan.

Part IV: Heading for Murcia till the end of a great Party, 17./18.11.2006 (by Marc)

ALIM Barcelona_14 After rocking the Mephisto in Barcelona, we started our nightly "flight" in our camper... yeah, another 600 km to MURCIA! Manuel took the first shift, so it was time for the others to get some sleep. SOMETIME in the middle of the night SOMEWHERE in the middle of spain we had our first stop at a gas station. Manuel headed for the bathroom and came back just a minute later. He said there was no light in the bathroom that there was a man lying next to the bassin sleeping.
